Route 4 eastward reaches Phuket Town in the same window. Karon and Kata beaches are approximately 20 minutes west via Route 4028. The international airport is 30–35 minutes north on Route 402 in normal conditions, rising to 45–50 minutes in peak season. There is no public rail on Phuket; residents depend on private vehicles, motorbikes, or taxis.
